The second technical meeting of Heat-to-Fuel was hosted by the Politecnico Torino in the beautiful and historical building Castello del Valentino, the days 27thand 28th February, 2018.
Lots of interesting discussions took place in this fruitful meeting. One different activity during this meeting was the exercise, conducted by R2M, where the partners were guided to identify the exploitable results of the project.
During the second day, the Consortium had the opportunity to visit the Crescentino plant of our partner Beta Renewables, where biofuels are produced from non-agricultural products. Crescentino was the first plant in the world for the industrial production of second-generation bioethanol.
The next meeting will be hosted by IChPW in Poland, coinciding with the first year of Heat-to-Fuel.
